I have decided to write down (the ones that are publishable and legal), so I don’t forget them and they may be of assistance to you.
Ok I am stealing this from Yoda (check Star Wars), but think about it, change only happens when you or I do something, we can think as much as we want but that without doing something, nothing will happen.
I recently had the following shared with me that has had a significant impact on my life and led to me changing a number of aspects in may life.
Think of an aspect of your life that you would prefer to change. Describe it in as much detail as you need.
Now write down the following: (Padesky 5 Aspects 1985)
What Thoughts & Images come to mind
What are your Emotion & Moods
What are you Physical Responses
What are your behaviours
Which of these four is the easiest to do something about? Behaviours.
Start by doing something differently and the rest will follow.
