In the Moment
Cult of Self – are you an informer or a meformer?
I, like many people have ideas and thoughts that pop into my head.
I have decided to write down (the ones that are publishable and legal), so I don’t forget them and they may be of assistance to you.
I have hit a real rich stream of books to listen to recently (if I like them I buy the physical version too). Yesterday a book called ‘Insight’ by Dr. Tasha Eurich really made me think and smile.
There are two types of people on social media these are:
Informers – people who predominantly try to give people practical information or articles that are designed to give people the opportunity to think, enjoy or reflect on.
Meformers – people who post on social media to tell people about them, to ensure people are able to see how their life is (wonderful or otherwise).
So what am I? (people who know me please send me feedback).
I am going to go back over all the last month’s posts you made and which category the posts fall into, where are most of your posts ?
Informers – tend to be more self aware and externally focused.
Meformers – tend to be more self absorbed and internally focused.
Like I say, it made me smile and think.
